Pottering Around Private Functions

We’d love to host you and your crew for your event, be it a birthday, hens party, baby shower, work function or any other special occasion, we’ve got you covered!

Our focus for our parties (and everything else we do at Pottering Around) is FUN! No experience is required for any of our activities. Whether you’re a seasoned artist, or you’ve never picked up a paint brush or clay, we’ll ensure you and your guests have an incredible time and leave with your inner creative spark unlocked.

Full, private use of our charming, Semaphore Park Studio for 2 hours
Our friendly staff on hand to guide you through the session and answer questions

Ceramic Painting

Ceramic painting is a fun and creative way to turn everyday items into unique works of art! Simply, select your piece and paint it with any design you like.

All guests are welcome to choose their own ceramic item(s) on the day, or you can decide to have everyone paint the same item(s) of your choice.
Everything is supplied including paints & brushes, and all items kiln fired after your session.

Minimum spend $900. Total spend can be split across total number of guests

Pottery Wheel Sessions

A super fun and hands-on experience. Guests will shape and mold clay to create unique pieces and be mesmerized by the spinning wheel!

Each guest gets two shots on the wheel
Everything is supplied including clay, and all items kiln fired after your session
One of our experienced instructors will guide you and your guests through the process

$89 per person, minimum of 10 guests

Clay Handbuilding

An alternative option for those who want to get their hands dirty with clay! We will guide your group through the process to create a unique item. Chat to us about what you’d like to make, we can create anything from bowls, plates, mugs, planters.. the list goes on!

Everything is supplied, including clay and tools, and all items kiln fired after your session
One of our experienced instructors will guide you and your guests through the process

Combination of Pottery Wheel and Ceramic Painting

Our most fun and popular option, combining Ceramic Painting and Pottery Wheels! We have 6 Pottery Wheels in the studio, so we find it’s a great option to have a painting activity set up while we alternate guests through the pottery wheels to keep everyone busy and having fun!

All guests can paint a ceramic item up to the value of $30
All guests get one shot on the pottery wheel
All items will be kiln fired after your session
Includes everything you need, including clay, paints, brushes and an experienced instructor to guide you through the process

$99 per head, minimum of 10 guests

Catering

Indulge in deliciously crafted shared grazing platters, with options starting at just $25 per head. We can arrange for your dietary requirements to be catered for too, just chat with us about your requirements when you book.

Bring your own favourite foods and snacks, or arrange alternative catering, we can accommodate for that too! We’re all about making your event exactly how you’d like it!
