Because that’s what we aim for at Pottering Around. Smiles. Memories and smiles.

Not just your smile as you paint or create something awesome, but the smile of your Granny when she gets her new mug. Or the smile of your Mum and Dad who have never tried throwing a pot before. Or the smile of your girlfriend, because you didn’t buy her flowers this Valentine’s Day!!!

Pottering Around was born out of a need to do something different. To swap the everyday for something more rewarding and relaxing.

To encourage the artist in the accountant (quite literally!!), to capture a memory on a dull day, to try something new…

To capture memories and create smiles!

We are different from other ceramic painting venues in Adelaide. Why? We fire your ceramics. Yes, that means you have to wait for them, but it makes your awesome artwork a functional and foodsafe piece of ceramic, not a dust gathering shelf ornament. We also serve great coffee! A barista made coffee, along with a menu of delicious cakes and light bites.

We do more than just ceramic painting. And more than just pot throwing, even more than just handbuilding!!
